On Friday, May 6th - the team of Far Breton will begin our first bake session of a very big weekend! We'll be baking early Friday morning and driving up with the first batch of delicious pastries for Food Truck Friday at Phoenix Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Many of you know that our bakery model got its first practice runs in Eau Claire as The French Confection (2003-2005), and again as Marie's Original Bakery (2006-2009). It's always exciting to see familiar faces as well as make new pastry fans! Something new this year: pre orders will be available right here on the website: click on "Phoenix Park" to place your order in advance!
Once we return to Madison, we'll have an afternoon to rest before firing up the ovens again Sunday morning, May 8th for the very first Northside Farmers Market of the 2022 season. I'm so, so proud of how much the Far Breton Bakery team has progressed in skills and speed over the winter! We expect to be ready at market at 8:30 a.m. sharp with all of the favorites and maybe a few new items to check out as well! As always, freshly baked all butter croissant and other creations (sometimes still warm out of the oven!) to share with friends and family!
So, this Saturday will be our last weekend at Burrows Park/Kappel's Clock Shop until November. A big thank you to Mr. Kappel for graciously sharing his parking spots with us every Sunday - we appreciate his support over this past winter so much. Make sure you check out his lovely vintage clock selection sometime!
Cheers,
Marie
